In my '69 manual, it says 255 hp...that has to be at the flywheel, and even then I dunno if I believe it. BUT, now I have a rip-roaring 165 hp at the flywheel due to a swap to a circa '73 350 out of a bus .

In the Chevy Truck ID Numbers 1946-1972 book has all 4bbl 350 cu engines listed at 175 hp for all. It also lists 2bbl 350 cu at 165 hp.

For '70 and '71, the 4 bbl 350 truck motor was rated at 255 gross hp. For the '72 model year, GM changed their hp ratings from gross to net , and the same motor was rated at 175 net hp.
