Brake Lurching - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a 68 SWB with drums all around. When I back up and hit the brakes it feels like it is lurching a little toward the passenger side rear. When going forward there is no lurching or pulling at all. Ady idea what this could be?

sounds like the self adjusters arent working correctly,,,,,,i cant post pic,theyre ay the very bottom of brake assembly,looks like a rod with a "star"type thing in the middle....jeff
