Inner Fenders, which undercoat or liner?

I am going to have my inner fenders blasted and was planning on painting the tops, but wasn't sure what I wanted to do with the bottoms. I've seen different things on the board, undercoat, bed liner, POR15, etc. Any thoughts? I'd like to make sure they don't rust out, figured it would be a good idea to do the tops of the inner fenders at the usual rust spots at the core support. What did you guys do to your inner fenders?

Re: Inner Fenders, which undercoat or liner?

Personally I have had mine blasted and powder coated on both sides in satin black. they look real good. But now i would as i have now found a great rust paint, would put 2 plus coats of rust bulllet on the panels and top coat.
I am on the wheel side on mine applying shutz to the panel on top of the powder coat.I have used the POR15 and do not find it as good as rust bullet.

Re: Inner Fenders, which undercoat or liner?

I just sprayed an undercoat out of a can. Worked so far and has held up.

Sprayed mine with epoxy black from a spray bomb ,plasticote grille guard , drive it rain or shine , dirt roads and all , still can soap and water wash the tire side and it looks good , very few chips, 2 years later.
