anybody have a temporary idea for gauges?

i took the dash part in my 85 to see what was wrong with my speedo and found a mess. the PO added a aftermarket temp gauge where the Voltmeter was. he hacked up the white back piece and the circuit piece is all bent and broken. i think most lights arent working. any ideas what i can do so i can drive it? i cant afford new gauges right now. i would need the circuit piece and probably the white plastic piece. the connector hasnt been hacked that i can tell.

i was thinking if i could just hook up a speedo, fuel gauge, and maybe aftermarket oil pressure and temp.

I drove one for almost a year back in the 90's without any gauges or dash pad or glove box or duct work.... Does not really hamper the trucks ability to drive down the road.

Re: anybody have a temporary idea for gauges?

my biggest concern is guessing my speed. i think i might install a 12v plug where the cigarette lighter was and use my wifes gps for that.

see im brainstorming here.
