I wonder if someone special ordered it with the 700r4. It's listed on the SPID as coming with a 4 speed auto, but 3/4 ton trucks did not typically come with a 700r4.

Seems pretty loaded for a Custom Deluxe i have owned 3 and none of them came with a dome light let alone half of the options that truck has.

What a wildly optioned truck...Custom Deluxe was lowest of the Chevys right? My High Sierra (2nd level) has carpet, a/c, tilt, delay wipers, dual tanks, am/fm, and single lamps. That thing has MORE options than I do and also less! I love the diversity of these generations.

I just noticed it also has intermittent wipers but AM radio. Cool truck.

Re: Low mileage K2500, this is interesting

I remember going with my dad to order a new Chevy truck in the 80's, and he was able to go through a long list of options to pick and choose what he wanted on the truck. This truck seems like an example of that. I don't think the General gives you that many options today. It sure is a nice truck!

That really is a crazy options list for a custom deluxe. Funny, my '83 GMC K2500 came from the factory with a 350 and a 700R4 as well. Mine had all of the above options but the intermittent wipers, but mine was a Sierra Classic.

I think at that point, the buyer assumes all craziness. Haha.

Re: Low mileage K2500, this is interesting

why not ask for a high reserve? It's worth what someone will pay, and that's a clean truck.

I watch this site and see trucks like that for a bit less, but not much.
