I have a 1970 GMC 1/2 ton, where on that truck are the color codes located?

Re: color code
If your truck still has the SPID (options list) on the insdie of the glovebox door it will have the paint code and the trim code.
On you 70 the paint code will be a three digit number between 500 and 599. If it is a two-tone the code will indicate both colors and style. The interior trim code is specifc for color and type. * VIN/Model Decoders * Power Team Charts (engine/transmission/gear ratio) * Post Your Pickup SPID Blazer SPID Suburban/Panel SPID * RTFM ... Re: color code
Well there you go. 544 breaks down as a conventional two-tone truck in 514 Light Red (Ditzler 70704) with a 521 White (Ditzler 2185) roof. Very classic look.
