I have a 1983 chevy c30 reg cab.
My question is: does anyone know why Bell Tech and Western Chassis's shackle/mount kit says for Crew Cab only? The tech rep at bell tech had no clue! Go figure! The only thing I can think of is if the crew cab models don't have the rear brake weight proportioning valve?

CC's do have the rear bias valve for the brakes. It's possible the rear shackle hanger is different for a CC vs a single wheel set-up.

Mine is a reg cab dually, just trying to figure out if the shackle/mount kit offered by Belltech and Western Chassis will work. Belltech just show the 2" drop mount for a reg cab, but you can get the mount/shackle kit for a crew cab.

Can you take a pic of your shackle/hanger & post it? Mine were removed from the truck but I still have them & can compare them visually to get your answer.
