C30 Reg Cab rear lowering? Shackle/mount!
I have a 1983 chevy c30 reg cab.
My question is: does anyone know why Bell Tech and Western Chassis's shackle/mount kit says for Crew Cab only? The tech rep at bell tech had no clue! Go figure! The only thing I can think of is if the crew cab models don't have the rear brake weight proportioning valve? Thanks, Justin |

Re: C30 Reg Cab rear lowering? Shackle/mount!
CC's do have the rear bias valve for the brakes. It's possible the rear shackle hanger is different for a CC vs a single wheel set-up.

Mine is a reg cab dually, just trying to figure out if the shackle/mount kit offered by Belltech and Western Chassis will work. Belltech just show the 2" drop mount for a reg cab, but you can get the mount/shackle kit for a crew cab.

Can you take a pic of your shackle/hanger & post it? Mine were removed from the truck but I still have them & can compare them visually to get your answer.
