Looking for history on 84 Dallas truck
I'm trying to match the dark blue paint. It was described as Dallas cowboys colours on the build sheet.
Also interested in the history of this truck that came from Texas. It was built for a charity auction somewhere around 2007 or 2008 somewhere in Texas. I found BigMike608's truck and find it hard to believe that they are not somehow related. He mentioned that his was painted about the same time that ours was built in Texas. Separated at birth? Here is ours

Updated pic of my 87... Mine is painted with Honda colors: Belize Blue Pearl and Blade Silver. Just dropped it and added stock trim and molding.

Thanks
I see that Nissan and GM both have a blade silver. Any idea which one?

Re: Looking for history on 84 Dallas truck
Since I have such an extreme drop now, my big question is if my drop shocks will be too short if I raise it up from next to no coils and up to 1" off the coil, or if I will have to go back to stock shocks in the front?
Everything else I have on the truck now meshes with your list.

Re: Looking for history on 84 Dallas truck
They may be too short. If you hit full extension (or compression), you would chance breaking or blowing out the shock. However, since they are already there, you could run them and see. If they were the wrong length, you could always go with the stock shocks later too.
