How much? 67-72 Shortbed Fleetside

What can I expect to pay for a fleetside bed for my 70 C-10 that has little to no rust? I think I'd like to get the newer style bed off and put a more original one on. I'm torn whether to get a wooden bottom or not.

I bought a real nice one for $600 two months ago. Usally a decent bed will sell for $300.

New repop bedsides with marker holes are $400 + $100 shipping each.
That means 67 SWB fleet beds will sell for $1,000-1,500 around here, in the condition you described. Less with some problems.

how do you use your truck?

wood beds are awesome when kept up, but sometimes that's hard to do. are you planning on hauling stuff in the bed? does the truck sit out in the weather and/or you planning on a bed cover?

obviously, metal beds are easier to take care of, but most of those i have seen all have the washboard effect going on. if i ever thought there was a chance i might haul something in the bed, i would go for the metal floor
