Thanks everyone!
I figured it out. It was the little cable that attaches to the gas pedal arm below the dash. The cable has a little cable lock nut thing. It had way too much slack. The pedal was almost all the way to the floor in the default position. I took the slack out of the cable and cut the other cable nut off and put another adjustable nut on. Problem solved. This thing feels like a whole new truck now. It hauls ass! I also thought I was having a problem with my kickdown cable because it wasn't kicking down into gear. Well it was just because I wasn't getting WOT. Truck is running great now. Burns the tires!!!! Thanks for all the help!! |
