Backspacing on a 15" styled steel rim from the 70's is 4" and worked great on my 70 K10. Backspacing on a 2000 16" Chevy aluminum rim is over 5". The hub size is different too. Hub size for a 1970 is 3.5 and the late model rim is 3" You are gonna need a heck of a spacer. Paul
