Finally got a old suburban.
After having a couple 68 short beds over the years I finally got a 68 suburban. Picked it up about 2.5 hours from where we live.
Truck is mostly original. All three seats are there and it runs and drives great. Very little rust to deal with and will make a nice daily driver. My wife following me home in her 2008 Suburban... :-)

Engine is clean enough for a driver.

Re: Finally got a old suburban.
I have a 68 also. Picked it up in 1997 as a rolling shell. Stored it for 16 years and started the build on it last October. It's at the paint shop right now and should be out in a few more weeks. 496 BBC is done and waiting for the car. Can't wait.

Re: Finally got a old suburban.
I bought mine done with just odds and ends to do (neverending). I couldn't imagine having the patience required for a 7 year build. It'll be awesome to get 'er going. Are you on camaros.net too?

Re: Finally got a old suburban.
Yeah I get on there every once in a while. Yes it takes a bit of patience to keep one for 17 years.
