What are y'all using for a check engine light?

I bought some cheap LED lights at Radio shack. Mine flash when a code sets so it will annoy the heck out of you until you clear it.

Here is mine. It is just a cheap light I bought at the local part store.

i got mine at orileys, like 3 or 4 bucks, led light

I did this. A bad pic, but it says "service engine" in the lower right unused location next to the brake light. I prefer the factory look though, so that's why I keep the stock gauges. I guess it depends on what year your truck is and what build style you're going for.

I'm so glad you posted that. I saw your thread before, but I couldn't find it again. How did you do that? Did you do a write up? My 70 Suburban has a like-new tach dash in it that I'd like to keep looking stock.

that was before my new gauges, and that is with no codes, when i throws a code its ten times brighter

I didn't do a write up on it, but it was fairly straight forward. I took apart an '87 Chevy truck dash and took the part that says "service engine soon" out and put it in the slot that used to say "temp" on the 67-72 dash. The opening isn't big enough for the whole thing to show, so I just used the "service engine" part of it. Then I put a socket in the back and hooked power up to one lead and to the PCM on the other. Not hard at all.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
