YES!! It drives!
I'm so jacked right now! Found I am going to have to change the oil pan gasket. Might also need a stronger return spring on the gas pedal too. But Reverse, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd work. Didn't hit 4th.
First video starts a bit slow finding gears, and working on my nerves. |

Re: YES!! It drives!
That was fun, nothing like that first ride around the block when you get it together enough to be able to take that test drive.

Re: YES!! It drives!
LOL. Ya, my wife said a little while after that, she saw a cop slowly driving down the road. We never have police around here.

Re: YES!! It drives!
Looks good and sounds good. Ill be looking for a doorless bedless noseless truck running down 10th with the KPD chasing it.
I wouldn't sweat the leos. Two of my nieghbors are cops and they understand shakedown runs with old cars. |

Re: YES!! It drives!
Around here the cops are pretty cool if you are not being stupid and would probably want a shop tour. I've been stopped by bored cops on road trips in my 64 Chevelle just because they wanted to check out the car.
