What year NP205 did you use with our speedo cables?

If I swap to an NP205 what year do I want so I can use the stock speedometer in our gauge clusters?

It should not matter what year NP205 you use. Your speedometer will not be 100% accurate. You will have to take it to a speedo shop and have them make you a ratio box adaptor, unless you know someone that has a revolution counter you can figure out what ratio you need and possibly buy the right ratio box off EBAY or have a speedometer shop make you one.

As far as I know all years of NP205 had a mechanical speedo drive. I don't know if you can change the drive and driven speedo geard in the NP205 as you can in a transmission or not. You may have to do as 66Gilbert said.
