Re: Craig list find in Oregon
i like how he keeps saying "this or that was new 15 years ago"...
If you wanted the whole thing, I'd say $500. It's probably worth more as parts though - the grille, engine, trans, would probably bring more separately than the whole truck is worth - but depends on whether or not you want the truck or the parts - either way, probably cheaper to get the whole thing. You do mention it as a project - if it were me, unless he's almost giving it away, I'd pass. Whether it was "new" when he parked it 15 yrs ago or not, it needs a laaaaata work - and those "new" tires are probably dry rotted now. I'm just sayin. BUT, it is a unique truck, could be an interesting project and you could probably get it for a song - so if it's something you want AND it's dirt cheap, have at it! Would be really cool if you actually had an actual use for it for some reason - that would make it all the more fun. |

Re: Craig list find in Oregon
I agree. I looked at a 64 dually flatbed in slightly worse shape but the same option wise and with title I offered $550. He couldnt get the title though, and thats what I really needed, so we parted ways.
