Differences in brake lines

Are there any differences in brake lines between a 2wd and a 4wd? Power brakes, disk front, drum rear) I have a 72 K10 and was looking to replace all of the lines, but the ones I see on LMC all say 2wd. http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cb/full.aspx?Page=166

I don't see why there would be a difference, but thought I better check here before ordering

I just called LMC to see if there was a difference, and the woman said that there is and that they don't carry the brake lines for the 4WD models. Doesn't really seem right to me, and she was kind of miserable on the phone.

Does anyone know where I might find these brake lines? I never thought parts would be so hard to get for this truck. Same for the parking brake cables. They don't carry them. Is there really a difference in these components between the 2WD and 4WD?

There should be some that can help you out. You could also try Inline Tube, they have them in both steel and stainless steel, and they have the emergency brake cables also.

Thanks for that info Gary. I tried all of the supporting vendors without much success, unless I somehow missed something, but Inline Tube does indeed have the brake link and e-brake cables I need. There website leaves a lot to be desired, but so far they are the only place I could find what I needed. They never did show up in a Google search though

Just a heads up in case anyone is looking. I found what I needed at Right Stuff (getdiscbrakes.com). I had ordered from the in the past when I restored ny Chevelle. I had check their site earlier, but they didn't show the parts I needed, so I called and was given the part number. Front to rear line, part # TIN7205. The rest of the parts were listed on their site. I'll still probably need to order the e-brake set from Inline Tube, but reading reviews of past customers, I'm a little worried

Check with Inline Tube. They carry just about everything you'll need

I went through the same problem for my k20. Mine was worse due to the fact that I'm not running the factory axles or brake line locations. I ended up buying tube from the parts store (and a bender from harbor freight) and custom bending/mounting it all myself. It wasnt' too bad for a first time job. My bends aren't the prettiest, but everything is secured nice and should last.

but the thing that surprised me was the cost. I spent over $200 trying to "save money" and do it all myself.
