56 c.o.e.
Ok all, my father in law tried to give me a 56 COE before he passed away in 06 and I turned it down as I had no place to put it. (I know what your thinking, and I agree: "what an idiot") but now I am going out to his old property this weekend. I am hoping that I can find it. It was at a buddy of his place that didn't know what to do with it. Wish me luck as the wife has given me the green light to get it.
I am thinking maybe find an RV frame and make a ramp truck out of it. Nothing pretty just a good driver.

Re: 56 c.o.e.
you said it, not me
good luck on your treasure hunt i always thought the gmc motor homes with the 454 front wheel drive would make a killer car hauler more of a low flat bed than a conventional ramp

Re: 56 c.o.e.
It would of been worth paying to store it. Or buy a buddy beer to keep it for you.
Never pass up a classic.

Sounds like the 69 C30 with lift flat bed I have sitting over in Oregon. Needs a carb and it will drive, want to get it over here really bad.

in 55.5 the C.O.E (CAB OVER ENGINE) was renamed C.F. (CAB FOWARD).
