72 c10 suburban, at least in the rear, but dont want to lower,or raise. Going to use mostly when towing, so helper bags ok, but not prefered.

Any suggestions? All I can seem to find are lowering kits.

NOTE: I am actually requesting specific kits/parts on this.

You'll need to make bag cups that will set the bag lower in relation to the frame to get the desired ride height. Or think if it as a bag spacer.

If you're trying to set a certain ride height with a bag alone just install a set of bags and either use an accuAir management system or put manual air valve ride height sensors like they use on semi trucks and RV's.

Not sure why my pics are posting sideways but on the left is the manual valve. It has a line to an air tank and one to the bag. The rod attaches to the axle housing and is set up so the valve is closed (centered) at ride height. Too low opens the valve on the tank side to bring it back to center. Too high opens the valve on the dump side bringing it back to center.

The issue is not establishing ride hight after install, its finding a "kit" or set of bags that initial install will be in the stock height range.

Everything I am finding will create a drop from stock unless I want to ride the bags at full extenuation.........which I don't

Nobody is going to have a "kit" that will place your particular vehicle at stock ride height at a given pressure. Generally if I'm fabricating an air ride setup that is meant to have a stock average ride height I have to mock up the bag mounts and find out how much pressure it takes to achieve that height and inflate the bag to its free standing height (this is just Where I choose to set them up and not meant to say that's where they have to be). Your beat bet would be to get with a reputable shop and have what you want built to suit your needs if you cannot fabricate the setup yourself. There are several kinds of bag over shock setups aftermarket and sleeve setups they use on cars with air suspension OEM that might be suitable for your setup but it will take a lot of measuring and research to get exactly what you want. What the gentleman meant by spacers is likely spring cups. You essentially need to make the bag the same height as the stock spring at free length ( its a little more complicated than that but you get the idea) and the only way to really do that is to use a sleeve bag or bag.over shock that's approximately the correct length or is use a bag with a set of cups that make it fit where the.spring used to be. Generally speaking the bags don't have anything to do with ride height. That is determined by how and where we mount them.

I can get several "kits" that can be installed by me, but they all "lower" the ride height, and it based on the size of the bag, or bad travel. To keep ride height to stock, every bag I have found would be at full extension, which isn't good for the bag, and would give me a stiff ride. Guess the spacer idea may win, or I just may do what I did last time and put a set of 3/4 ton springs on my 1/2 ton........

Just simply not going to pay a shop to custom this, just surprised no one has found/made a set of bags that would do stock height without using spacers.......

I understand what you're saying. I guess I'm just saying its not hard to make or have made a set of cups that would mount your bags where you want them to be for the ride height you want.
Especially if you're coil spring in the rear. Sorry I couldn't offer better help.

At this time I am going to use a non air "helper" set from LMC, and will revisit air ride in the future.
