So I ended up ordering 15x7 Corvette style made for trucks w/a 4" back spacing. I will be using the tires I mentioned earlier. They are the cheapest white wall I have found. Not looking for wide white as its not really era appropriate for a 68 truck.
Here is what I intend to do: Get this blasted and powder coated black Use these tires in 235/75/15: And throw these on for good measure:

(lol) Just to close the loop: OE Truck Rally (87 pickup) 15x8: 4.5" from mounting surface to edge of bead lip OE Corvette Rally (74 Chevelle) 15x8: 4" from mounting surface to edge of bead lip I shouldn't have assumed they were the same. K
