FS factory AC 1970 Suburban

I just removed (carefully) the factory roof mount AC from my 1970 Suburban. It wasn't working since my engine doesn't even still have the compressor, but it looks to be in pretty good shape. I'm sure it will need some TLC but it is as complete as I could manage. I don't need it and would like to sell to someone who wants their ride original and have AC. Asking $400 but you have to pick it up-it would be a real hassle to ship......I'm located in Northern Ca. near Chico.

Interesting. That's the first one of those I've seen apart. It appears to have twice as many squirrel fans as my '72 rear air.

I decided to go with the VintageAir Gen 4 unit. Front only. I've been told it should cool the beast. I hope so.

Can you post a couple pictures of the rear seat?

Re: FS factory AC 1970 Suburban

After thinking about it I may be a bit premature in offering the seat for sale. I will be installing seats out of a "modern" Burb in my 70 and I may need the brackets (or?) when I do it. How soon do you need it? I can put you first on the list. How much do you want to pay and can you pick it up? Thanks

Short brackets. That's the middle seat, correct?

I guess it's the middle seat? It was mounted in mid position on mine.

Re: FS factory AC 1970 Suburban

Look close at the pictures and you can see that the previous owner had a flimsy hinge on the front to tilt it forward? What you see is what you get.

Also shown is the factory AC that is also FS. Since this picture I've removed it.
