Exhaust Manifold Hardware

As everyone knows the heat does some ugly things to the exhaust hardware. So I am looking for the expert opinion: should I use stainless nuts and bolts to improve the life and appearance? Maybe there is something better? Sometimes stainless is not the best material option so I am wondering if anyone has some experience with the materials used for exhaust hardware. Thanks, Rob

Stainless will just turn blue and funky... Bout painted with high temp bolts?

Just use CAD plated grade 8's with a quality anti-seize. Stainless is a b*tch to remove after being heated and cooled, heated and cooled for years.

Re: Exhaust Manifold Hardware

Thanks for the good feedback. I thought stainless might be a bad choice, but just wanted some confirmation. I'm going for the grade 8 hardware!
