Trailering Special package includes HD power steering, battery and generator. According to Chevy literature the vehicle must have a gasoline engine -axle ratio combination suitable for the weight of the trailer to be towed.

On mid-80s Suburbans, the factory towing package added a Class III receiver hitch, factory oil cooler, and towing wiring harness. A tranny cooler was an aftermarket thing, not a factory offering (if memory serves me correctly).

Re: trallering spec.

Were the bigger mirrors part of the "Trailering Special"? I just got a '76 2wd Blazer with the Trailering Special package. It has the big mirrors.
