Windsheild washer nozzle options
Has anyone found a nozzle of a later model that works well on our trucks. I have a replacement electric pump on mine and it does a good job. But would like to improve the spray pattern.
Thanks Jimmy

Re: Windsheild washer nozzle options
I haven't tried these yet but I have been wanting to try the spray nozzles that clip onto the wiper arm. I know there are many applications for those. My wifes previous car, a '92 Olds Achieva had them and her current '02 Grand Prix does also.

Re: Windsheild washer nozzle options
A few days ago, while I was at the auto parts store, I came out and saw a guy fiddling with such jets that sit on the wiper blades. He had a Buick. We chatted a bit. I noticed that his wiper blades were of good gauge steel. When I came home I looked at my wipers on my '65 C10 and I wondered whether mine are not somewhat flimsy. Maybe I have spent too many years in new, leased cars, but the stock wipers on the '60-'66 seem just a tad flimsy and not really the most solid place to clip on a water jet.

Re: Windsheild washer nozzle options
The arm are plenty stiff to hold the jet. Will have to look at the junk yard for some donors and see what is out there.

Re: Windsheild washer nozzle options
This is an American company that makes what appear to be very fine windshield washer nozzles. I do not know of any distributor for them, but I suppose you could drop them a line and find out more info.

Re: Windsheild washer nozzle options
We used to sell those all the time at Napa for the guys with late 60's and 70's "SLABs" who had either shaved everything off, or had cowl hoods etc. They work ok, but they are ALL cheaply made. Doorman sells universal ones that work about the same. Whether or not they improve your spray pattern is a different discussion.

Re: Windsheild washer nozzle options
Was looking and it looks like the Camaro or chevelle ones with some bending may work. They have the cap on the end with all the little holes in it. Has anyone got one of the late 60's early 70's cars that have these? What I get now is a single stream to the windshield.

Re: Windsheild washer nozzle options
you could tweak them with pliers more open or closed, closed would be higher pressure and wider pattern.
