Question parking brake rod

Does the parking brake rod have a slight downward bend to it at the fwd end just before the clevis? Mine does and it drags on the frame and cab, might have to add another shim to cab mount, does that sound right? 53 3100

Re: parking brake rod

no, straighten the rod. I have at least two of them, they're straight.

Re: parking brake rod

My bad, had the rod between the cab and frame, should have been through the hole in the cab support. Removed the rod, straighten, reinstalled work right now. thanks tmoble.
