Re: 60-66 FAQ's
I didn't see anything in the FAQ on grounding tail lights and it pops up quite a bit. Here's a link for consideration. I love the FAQ, it's a great resource.

Re: 60-66 FAQ's
You may already know this,
But you can link to a particular post and yet open that post within the whole thread rather than just that post. Over in the projects section you posted a link to section 2B but it doesn't take you directly to 2B. Here's how you do it: You first click on the post number. In your case it would be the number 3 of post #3. This isolates that single post, which is called "View Single Post" Then in the "View Single Post" mode, click on the thread title. This takes you back to the full thread. Now scroll up to the address bar and copy the address link. Now when someone clicks on that address link you post in your thread, it takes them to the whole thread, but straight to the post you want to link them to. I edited your post below to let you see how it works. Click on Section 2B in the quote below. Quote:

Re: 60-66 FAQ's
Howdy folks,
I updated the 60-66 FAQ Index today... if you are new to the forum or haven't checked out the 60-66 FAQ in awhile, review Section 1 for the layout and the outline. Section 1 also has a lot of links to articles about how to do mash buttons and do things here within the forum. It's been awhile since I updated, but I've been collecting links and adding them to the pile... and had a few folks send me a few links as well. I work on it when I have time and I'm in the mood... it's a lot of editing to make it happen. The latest... August 2014 08/04/2014 : added multiple links in all 4 Sections... Body, The Engine Bay, Electrical Threads, Mirrors, Seats & Heaters and others... as well as a few to the Fun! & Historical categories. Added a category, Painting our Trucks to Section 2C and updated and tweaked the 60-66 FAQ Index - Outline in Section 1 in a few places. Need more threads for these Categories: Lowering Manual Steering Painting our Trucks(stuff related to our 60-66 trucks, like paint schemes, paint codes, etc.. - other painting things are for the paint and body work forum) Panel Trucks Suburban Archives I know some of these threads exist, as I've read some of them over the years... I haven't had much luck in searching tho', must be using the wrong terms or something. Please check your 'subscribed threads' folders in your User CP or use your favorite search tricks to find 'em for us! ---- Always looking for more information to add to the pile... A few of the highlights that were added in the latest edit :
As always, thanks to everyone that contributes to these nifty threads... happy wrenchin' and boltin' to everyone. -W |

Re: 60-66 FAQ's
If you have time, by all means, the hunt for this stuff is the most fun. But , the new stuff will work fine with the new old to . Most of the burb stuff under the hood will be same as pickup. If you find a harness, get the part number and we can figure that out. I can text Don and get an answer pretty quick to. Is that Burb home yet ?
