my 1965 chevy c20

hello this is my first time on one of these sites. I was wondering if anyone would know what newer frame would fit under my 1965 chevy c20 long box truck. I want disc brakes and to put in a 350 as of right now it has 8 bolt diffs and a straight six with a 4 speed tranny. Any help would be awesome thanks Jimmy

frame swap is allot of trouble and usually dont work very well. 71-87 front cross-member will bolt in relatively easy with the engine out u just need a adapter plate to mount the power-steering gear box.

Welcome to the forum

You do not want to change the frame. There are much easier ways to get what you want. Just do some searching thru the '60-'6 FAQ index and you will find links to threads that will help you with just about anything you want to do to your truck.

Welcome!

I would do what these other fellas are saying, look on those FAQ's, they will make things so much easier to understand.

You can do the upgrades as time\$ allow. Disc brakes, then motor, then ?

Good luck and welcome!
