Rochester B Throttle Help Anyone?
It appears that my screw became loose or wasn't tightened by the PO and the spring on what I'm going to call my throttle lever worked its way loose. One side of the spring goes around the throttle level but what does the other side of the spring attach to?

Re: Rochester B Throttle Help Anyone?
I assume the spring attaches to the level like this just from zooming in on some pics around the internet, but no clue what the other side goes around to put load on the spring...

Re: Rochester B Throttle Help Anyone?
If I recall correctly, you have the spring on the throttle arm in the correct position, you just need to attach where it's circled in red and make sure that you got tension so the top of the throttle arm is pushing against the choke lever.

...and the screw, even when tight, should allow the lever to rotate freely--not locked down.

Re: Rochester B Throttle Help Anyone?
Sorry it took so long.. wouldn't let me upload for some reason. Loop the smaller hook around the little arm on the carb and then position the bigger one on the throttle arm, then you'll have to push the arm and flex the spring to get it on the screw mount.. if that makes any sense. The spring should be under tension.
