I just put '87 exhaust manifolds on my '86 Suburban 1/2 ton. I know you said no Dorman but that is what I used and very happy. They were very close to the original looking studs, and used the same ones on both sides. I had previously ordered some from the Walker catalog and they looked good but the threads must have been metric because they would not fit my manifolds. I got the Dorman ones from Summit (RNB-03110). The donuts from Autozone 60718. Hope this helps.
