Unfinished firewall
The body and paint was done very nicely on my truck but the firewall was left like this. Seems odd to me so is there some kind of cover or panel that can be attached to the firewall to cover this up? I'm not familiar with aftermarket parts that are available for these trucks.

Looks to be some kind of stick on sound deadner like Fatmat or peal and seal. What's those brackets and spacers for that are bolted to the fender along the firewall? The inner fenders don't appear to be stock. What's that stud for on the firewall above the air cleaner?

Sid - looks like a front tilt hood latches. I googled "1952 chevy truck fire wall pad" (you do not have any info in your signature that indicates what year you have) and came up with a bunch of links. It looks like there are companies that make ABS or other plastic ones that fit over the stock for a smooth look.

It has the No Limit front tilt set up. The inner fenders are probably fabricated since it has Mustang II suspension. That silver is an insulator but I thought it was strange left unfinished, to me it seems they planned on adding something. I have heard of a fiberglass firewall cover made by No Limit but have not seen these. Was hoping that someone here has some experience with these covers if they exist.

I think that most guys would get a sheet of stainless or aluminum the right size to trim out quite similar to the kit that Advanced Design showed in his link. With the tilt hood and detailed engine I'd think that they didn't get to that item before selling the truck. you could even do it in mild steel and paint it to match the truck if that would be too much shiny polished metal on the firewall for your taste.

No Limit used to have a bolt-in-behind-the-hood-hinges cover for the TF truck's firewall. I went looking for it again recently and didn't see it though. Maybe they have one for the AD trucks though.
If it were mine I'd make a cardboard or Masonite template. Then have a sheet mental shop make a heavy panel with some minor interesting detail lines and have it painted to match your body. No one will ever notice and it'll look great. You could also consider laying up one yourself with Fiberglas from the Masonite.

Both perfect ideas however I would prefer to find someone that already makes one to cut the work down to paint only. One reason this hasn't been a priority is I don't open hood except for service/maintenance

The inner fedners look to be the ones made by b*tch*n products (no longer in business). I have the same ones on my truck. you could always remove the sound deadner and have someone paint the fire wall.

I paint but the sound deadner is covering some holes. The way it was left they had a finishing plan and I was hoping there are pre made panels some where. Very possible they (who ever they are) planned on making their own panels.

Right now I think your best option is to cut some patterns out of heavy poster board and then with them held up on the firewall back off and get a visualization of how it will look when finished. Someone with a bead roller could even put a design in it for you. It would cost a bit more but it might really add to the total look.
