front fender lower patch panels

these things are crazy expensive!! If im going to spend the money I want the best fitting! What does everybody suggest??

other than buy them?
one thing about patch panels that i do...
don't replace anymore than you need to
rather than cut out the fender/floor/hinge pocket/cab corner to fit the whole patch panel
just cut out the area that needs replacing

this wouldn't work for the step/rockers you'd want the structural integrity of the whole step/rocker

Count on replacing part of the inner brace too and possibly having to pie cut it to fit the curve of the door.....

How bad are the sections you need to replace? Show us some pictures of the bad area. Like what was already said, only replace the bad area.

The other option is to find some fenders that are hit in the front but have good lower rear pieces. On the big truck fenders i have out here that seems to be the situation on all of them. Bashed around the head light bucket but the back is good.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
