Hose from water pump to cab, can I cap it?
I'm flushing the coolant and changing hoses on my 67 c10. I yanked out the old air conditioning unit (or the parts left) and noticed this hose from the water pump to the cab. Can I put a cab on the water pump and take off this hose? What's the function for this hose? Any help is appreciated.

Those hoses are for your heater. If you decide to take them off, run one between the intake and the water pump.

You won't have any heat either.
