This truck makes me feel a LOT better about mine.

Saw this truck yesterday at a pumpkin patch out on hwy 1 along the coast. It was sitting about 1000 ft from the ocean and it showed it! Anyone want a little project?

My truck is like NOS perfection compared, really, I went out and looked at mine and had to smile.

Re: This truck makes me feel a LOT better about mine.

Mine lived in Malibu for over a decade, but didn't suffer.
At first I wondered why some screws and grommets, holding in the interior, were sorta rusty.
Then, "Duh...ocean moisture when the windows were down".

Poor old beast. Probably served her owners well for decades before being abandoned to the rust.

Re: This truck makes me feel a LOT better about mine.

Many years a go my sales territory included SSFO, Half Moon bay, Santa Cruz etc.
It always distressed me to see all the classic vehicles that were rusted out beyond repair.
I guess that's what holds the value of ours up.

I think some windex and a chunk of steel wool and it would look great. Be sure and put it on a S10 frame though.

Probably doesn't look too bad from a little distance. Lesson of the day, never ever buy a vehicle sight unseen(upclose).

That is a "ghost truck", perfect for Halloween. It's dead, but it doesn't know it!
