Sway bar bushing installation - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I need to replace my sway bar bushings, and purchased Moog k6169, which are marked Ramco. They are black and I think a harder try rubber.

My question is should they be installed dry or lubed with a silicon based grease?

Definitely lubed, otherwise they will squeak and be very annoying

Mine came with a little thing of clear grease when I bought the bushings. I assume its a silicone lube.

I'd use dielectric tune-up grease (mine is made by Permatex). I've also seen it called silicone spark plug boot release.

Thanks for the advice.

Unfortunately when I removed the old ones I found out that the brakets were all bent. So I opted to go with the energy susspension kit, which included a tube of what I think is silicone based lube.
