1984 suburban panel truck conversion

I have a 1984 K10 suburban that I want to turn into a panel truck (welding and smoothing out the rear doors, windows, and side windows) I am lookin for some pics of this being done before but havnt been able to find any. Can anyone help???

There was one around here. It had a dually conversion done to it and looked awesome. Then it was converted to a panel truck . I wasn't much into its new look.. It kinda resembled a billboard. If you were to stretch the front doors about a foot, I think it would have helped its looks a ton.

That sounds like a cool idea, I'd like to see a rendering of that.

Working on a rendering now will post when finished. I like the idea of stretching the doors. I am planing on having my daughter airbrush on the sides in western style lettering grandpa's burban with a whiskey bottle and shot glass but she didn't like my idea of personalized licence plates saying sub-panel

If metal work is your thing, it might look kind of cool if you chopped the roof over the doors 2-3" and then blended the roof lines like a 30's era panel or Vista Cruiser. Along with the stretched doors.....

I don't know, I've never seen a square chopped that looked right to me.

Found a picture today... Close to what I want to do but there would be no back doors and I don't like the chopped top or the stretched front doors at all. I'm also now thinking of running the drip rails all the way down the side following the body line at the top.
