Re: power steering bracket help???
I have a 77 c10 so we shouldn't be much different, first if you can post pictures that would be helpful to anyone trying to help you. 2nd on mine which I'll take pictures tonight and post them for you, there should on the far right lower side of the water pump be a hole that's where 1 bolt will go a 2nd one will cradle it at the top, and 3rd one will go to the far right of the power steering pump as well. But when you purchase a power steering pump you or you use your old one, you'll see there's a bracket that goes around the power steering pump. I will make sure to take pictures and post them tonight so you can see what it looks like.

Re: power steering bracket help???
No problem I just had to replace mine so that's why its fresh on my mind.
here's a picture off google that's what it the bracket and pump looks like, I couldn't find a good one that had it installed on the motor so you could see what it really looks like. http://www.google.com/imgres?q=chevy...9,r:3,s:0,i:84

Re: power steering bracket help???
no problem, there will be a lot of people here to help you and I will help you if I can. I really don't know much about the universal brackets, but you could always speak with an online tech at summitracing, or even jegs they both have quality stuff. I would maybe suggest see about when you go get the powersteering bracket about maybe also picking the water pump bracket as well, I'm sure you could find one on the block.

Re: power steering bracket help???
I would go to summit and buy this part I have it and it is so nice. It makes tighten the belt so easy and if you have headers it work great. The number is SUM-340100 it cost 110 but it worth it. Trust me the factor bracket suck and is hard to adjust. After you put it on and tighten the belt with just two wrenches you will see it was worth the money. And it looks nice too.

Re: power steering bracket help???
i ended up going with a summit mid mount serpentine system its worked well in this last year.. i would definitely recommend it! its somewhat cheap compared to billiet specialtys and still great quality and i would recommend electric fans so you dont mess up the finish with the original fan.. thanks for all the help!
