Steering Rack, what have you used?

Im swaping out the tierd 305 in my 86 stepside with an LQ4 from a 2005 Silverado. Since I have the front end apart anyway I started to look in to swaping out the steering box for a power rack.

I donīt need to do this, because Im not going to lower my truck to lay frame or anything like that. But I sure would like to "tighten" up the feel in the steering.
When I restored the truck a couple of years ago I put all new bushings and joints in, truck rides nice for what it is. But I would like it to be better.

Since Im trying to keep the budget low on this build I donīt want to shell out for a bolt on kit like Flamingriver or others.
So all you home fabricators out there, what are you using?
