how much drop?

How much drop will removing a leaf or two from my rear springs give me? Im guessing the bottom overload & the third leaf from the bottom would be best to remove?

Also do I put the offset hole on the flip bracket to the front or the rear of the truck?

Thanks...corn

Do you have HD leafs or the 3+1 leafs? If you have HD you will more than likely only lose the thickness of the leafs removed. If you have the standard leafs, you will lose the thickness of the leafs and possibly a little more if the truck "droops" after the removal.

That is my best guess.

Im not real sure if I have HD springs or not. I cant go by the option code anymore on suspension parts due to the frame change. There are 5 leaves total including the overload leaf.

Im doing the flip kit in the rear & a coil & a half in the front for a 3/5, drop. Ultimately I want 5/7 or more, but Im too broke to buy the drop spindles right now so maybe I had better just leave the springs alone (for now). I thought maybe removing a couple would help the ride...corn
