Question Powder Coat Clear - Valve Covers ?

I have some billet specialties vavle covers I bought a few months back. I was waiting to get some more stuff before I installed them but my vlve covers are warped and leaking so I need to through these on. I want the engine to be easy to clean and these BS covers are polished aluminum. Had anyone clear powder coated some valves covers? I am gonna go down today or this weekend and get some pricing through a powder coater we use for work. I was just curious how well the clear will hold up to the engine heat and clean chemicals. I seen colors hold up fine, but dont know anyone who has done clear on engine parts. Thanks.
Eddie
