Suburban went bye-bye
-
Well, I sold the Suburban. New owner came and picked it up last Wednesday. Three Guys from Des Moines, IA are starting a new business and wanted to drive older vehicles as company transportation. They bought the Suburban and also want the '70 4x4 when I get it finished. LockDoc

I think you need to get your head examined if those are your personal rigs.

...No one ever accused me of being too smart. I finished the Suburban last fall and drove it to the "All Truck Nationals" in Riverside, Missouri in September. The only thing I have left to do on the 4x4 is to finish up the wood bed and do a little touch up on it..... LockDoc

Re: Suburban went bye-bye
I'm curious what the guys business will be? Pretty neat that they want old iron as company transport.

Leon: I appreciate the help with my stuck ignition lock cylinder, I really do, but I think it's crazy to get rid of the 4x4. It's so damn clean.
I slap you virtually over the interweb, sir.

I hope you got a ton of money, I doubt it will make you as happy as the trucks.

Re: Suburban went bye-bye
I seriously doubt that Dale. I still have 6 left and I bought another one tonight. I won't post about it until I get it home tomorrow evening....

Re: Suburban went bye-bye
I honestly laughed out loud at this post.
Leon, you need to update your signature. You've been at "5 years in a row" for well over a year.

Re: Suburban went bye-bye
You have too good of a memory Mark....... Actually I have 2, the '36 Ford Coupe and the '39 John Deere "A". They both belonged to my Father-In-Law. He gave me the '36 Ford before the wife and I were married and we celebrated our 50th last June. WOW, where does the time go!!!

Re: Suburban went bye-bye
The only thing I will say is that it was more than $8500 and less than $12,500. LockDoc

Leon, the way you find them, you'll never run out. That burb turned out sweet. I think the panel will be really sweet when it's done!
