Re: What headers are you S10 swapped guys using?
I am putting a t-5 behind my 350 block. I used the headers that fit a camaro with a t-5 option. The one for an auto camero did not fit the clutch slave.
I was told not to use tight tuck headers because they did not breath as well. Steve |

That's what I bought. I've seen other guys using them to.

Thanks Hussey, I think I am leaning towards the ball and socket style. Seems like it would seal better.

Re: What headers are you S10 swapped guys using?
I used the Patriot s10 v8 swap headers on my 51 with a 327. They fit very well , cleared everything nicely and didn't leak. I ran the steering shaft with a u-joint right thru the headers. It worked out great. See my build, posts 472 and 492 for a couple of pics of the headers installed.

Re: What headers are you S10 swapped guys using?
You Chevy guys don't know how lucky you are.
I've got a '61 F**d F100 shop truck. Some time back, I scored a 302/C6 drive train for it. I, too started looking for headers. Checked out all the usuals(Summit, Jegs, LMC, etc.). No one had an application for headers for a '61 F100 with a small block F**d motor. In every one of those catalogs, there was a listing for my truck...if I had chosen to put a Chevy motor in it. WTF??? So, then, being a user of forums since they were called usenet, I got on the F**d truck forum and asked the very question the OP asked in this thread. My replies were varied, but they all added up to "get a couple of sets to try and see which one fits". Really? Like I couldn't have come up with that on my own...if I had a lot of cash, I guess. So, Chevy guys, count yourselves lucky that not only do you have a truck that the aftermarket manufacturers build parts for, you've got a forum full of actual helpful people like this one. For the curious, I ended up with stock exhaust manifolds into glass packs, exiting the sides in front of the back wheels. Not what I wanted, but it gets down the road.

Re: What headers are you S10 swapped guys using?
My headers are in. I have the headman part# 69520 I'm going to match this up to a Magnaflow dual in dual out muffler. It almost looks like these made the flanges "gasket-less" Like the Sanderson headers.

The Hedman headers as CaliforniaDaddy posted work well, just make sure you use quality gaskets as we've found the flanges to be thinner than desired.
