Was told my beater truck I just bought had drop spindles but I'm not so sure. Can anyone identify these?[ATTACH]Name: IMG_20141123_172238_673.jpg

Re: need help identifying spindles.

You have drop spindles. The shaft would be lower to the bottom control arm if you had a stock spindle.

Drop spindles for 73-87 c10 are 2 1/2 or 3 inch drop. Depends on the brand. Not sure which one that you have.

Most manufacturers from what I have seen puts the item number on the back of the spindle. Turn to full lock and clean the area. If you can read the number the google it. You should be able to find it.

pretty sure they are 2 inch spindles, I think I may go with 5 inch flip in rear and 2 inch springs, does that sound right?

Correct, but you can save a few bucks and cut one round off the coil springs, that will give you 2in drop without having to buy drop springs.
