Re: '78 Short Bed WIW?
It's at 7300 with 9 days left to go. It's probably going to sell for a ridiculous amount...but it looks like a nice truck.

Its a super clean truck that was restored with NOS GM parts. If it goes for less than 15k I will be surprised.

Re: '78 Short Bed WIW?
For me that is a 9-11 thousand dollar truck. I see a few very minor issues but all in all a very nice driver that you could take to a show and be proud. However with non-functioning AC(says he has all the parts), a rattle can paint job on the underside and mid level trim package I can't see paying much more. Still a beautiful truck anyone would be proud to own.

Re: '78 Short Bed WIW?
It is a nice looking truck. It would be more if it had all the Silverado trim.
It has an 80s era tailgate band on it. For that price, I wouldn't want to see dirt and grime on the transfercase. I think it should be clean and painted The engine should be blue in a 78 model. The A/C system is not installed. It has general tires on it. Not knocking on general tires(I have a set on my 99), but the only reason I bought them is because I didn't want to spend more on bfgs. To me, it seems like he did it to cut the cost down. That being said, that truck is very nice, and you could not build your own just like it for less than 15,000 I have a build thread in my signature about a 78 k10. It has about 18-20 in it. |

Re: '78 Short Bed WIW?
are you local to the area, can you go look at it in person, I bought a ton of stuff on eBay but I would not buy a vehicle off of it, not unless it was something super rare one in the world type, which this truck is not, is it nice, sure, picture nice, but is it in person nice, can't tell ~ use caution that's a lot of money
