c30 front suspension question
Hello all.
I'm building a 61 c30 DRW, and I'm swapping to a 73+ front end to gain power steering and better brakes. (also swapping rears) I found (but have not looked at) a 75 c30 single rear wheel parts truck with obviously, a SRW style front end. My question is, how are these front ends different? Is it only a spacer that makes up the difference in width, and are they commonly available? Also, would a 75 SRW tonner likely be equipped with a 14 bolt, or Dana rear? Thanks, Eric |

Re: c30 front suspension question
The Dually front rotors are drastically different than the single wheel rotors it's not just an add on spacer like some other trucks use.

Thanks Kevin.
Is it as simple as a rotor swap? Are the spindles the same? |

Re: c30 front suspension question
I wish I could tell you for certain one way or the other. In the past I've seen it several times on here where people say they are the same and people say they aren't. I've yet to see anyone post up any proof either way though.
I will say though, as massive as the rotors are, they are expensive. Expensive enough that I'd do a lot of diligence to try and find a dually donor to start with. I've had several duallys of this vintage so I'm very familiar with the parts, just never did any conversion swapping. Here are the rotors off my last dually project.
