Hey Guys,

I have no headlights. Checked all my fuses, replaced the switch. I have power to my dimmer and switch but nothing to the headlights. Thought that both bulbs might be bad (doubt it)and I had already ordered the H4 conversion from Shawn at **************** so I put those in. Still nothin and I would really like to see those work. I have my brake lights,running lights, blinkers, hazards everything but no headlights. Where is the headlight relay located? Thanks for your help. I'm starting to get pissed and I'm sure I will be more so when I find that it is something simple that I overlooked.

Sounds like your headlight switch or dimmer switch to me. Probably the connectors to the headlights went bad, or the dimmer switch from where it sets went bad. Check to see if you have any type of voltage in and out of the dimmer and at your the sockets.

I am pretty sure these trucks don't have a relay setup from the factor for headlights. That is why they tend to be dull because they don't draw full a full 12 volts.

I don't have my wiring diagrams handy with me in the house, but the switch or dimmer switch is the only thing I'v ever seen or heard that gives you indications

I had the same problem change you dimmer switch and that should fix your problem. If that does not work star looking for broken grounds. I had power to my dimmer switch too but replaced it and everything worked again.

You know I almost bought a dimmer switch while I was at NAPA. They worked one day and not the next. Kinda weird. Anyway thanks for the input , I will get a new dimmer tomorrow.

Check the ground on the core support passenger side.

If you were to kick your dimmer switch, or just flick it from low to high, I'll bet they will at least flicker.
Don't forget to inspect the harness plug and the dielectric grease when you dig into it.
