Original wiper blades and arms??
Local part stores have off brand wiper arms that dont cover most of windshield wipe motion, or I just havent found right store. I got a set from orielly auto which one arm completely came off while driving, and the blade lengths didnt seem long enough, should I just order a set off lmc or anyone know of a good match online?? its critical to have clear vision when in rain, being the defroster doesnt blow out defroster vents hard onto windshield.

Re: Original wiper blades and arms??
I got my blades from the Bumper-to-Bumper store.
They did not have a replacement refill so I had to get blade and refill. It is all black plastic so you loose the chrome arm and blade look. It seems like the refill only is not available anymore. |

Re: Original wiper blades and arms??
What size blades are you running? Stockers are 16".
If you have the flat attachments the blade slips onto, consider switching to the 1985 arm that uses the pin mount. Much more secure than a little nub in some questionable plastic adaptor. [edit: I see you got 1986 listed in your message, so you should have pin mounts. I'd look for replacement blades that use the coil spring to retain the blade, make sure it fully snaps onto the pin. And avoid any blades that need you to assembly a pile of plastic parts (which typically are poor fitting and wouldn't hold together in the presence of a fart).] Alex. Re: Original wiper blades and arms??
Since you can't get the refills anymore I just buy cheap heads and pull the rubber out to put in the stock ones.
