Re: under bed tank options
Fabbed aluminum 16gal fuel cell. Has a few sq feet of tank foam in it, and a sumped bottom where my fuel feed line is.

Re: under bed tank options
Cool work br3w city. Does the fuel line have potential getting caught on something going down the road or is that just the pic?
Black pony, whats the measuments on the tank? Price? Any ground clearance concerns? Seems like a decent alternative to a 800$ aftermarket tank.. |

Re: under bed tank options
i used a spectra tank from a '69 camaro ( kinda funny that so many parts meant for that car ended up on my truck, friggin hate those cars)
I can't find any final pics but here's a link to my flickr which has some shots of it going in https://www.flickr.com/photos/lammergeier/11957948316/ I'd probably do it different if I did it again. maybe a blazer tank or a adapt a 99-2003 silverado tank into a left side saddle tank. It's a hard fill for the pump jockeys (oregon law, can't pump your own freedom juice) and they usually spill some. |

Re: under bed tank options
Boyd.... rea$onable priced even with the Aeromotive Stealth 340 in-tank pump (and should be quieter too)
And it just looks professional. Top notch quality... here is the one I put in my 66 (its actually a 67-72 EFI Bed Fill tank that 'fits' into our 66 C-10's....

I guess if I ran over a bunch of rebar or something it could, but its pretty unlikely to say the least. It also makes pumping the tank down easier...my fuel pump comes off the frame rail, you can drop into a bucket and power-pump the tank empty.

Re: under bed tank options
I used a poly Blazer tank with an external pump for a few years. I wanted a better looking and working system so I went with boyds with an in tank pump. I am happy with it.

91 Jeep Wrangler tank. Like it grew there. Search the Silver Dollar thread.
