Anybody have any pics of any 67-72 Subs/Panels that have been bagged? I am lookin' for pics of the setups themselves, not the outside of the truck.
Thanks! Joe

Should be the same thing as a '67-72 truck. Right?

Yea... I'm not too familiar with these monsters yet and wasn't sure if there is anything Sub' specific I had to watch out for... I don't want to come through the floor either.
Basically, this is how I want it to sit when done....

to get it that low you will have to notch the floor for the pumpkin to come up. You can get them pretty low with out doing much. Bags and drop spindles and 2 inch blocks. And you are sitting pretty good.

Maybe I will look into cutting the floor. I may get rid of the termite buffet and replace it with some 16 ga. If I do that then I can raise the floor up a little(wheel wells too).

Yeah, that's L150's burb. He has a nice blacksuede F150 w/ a Navigator clip on it too..... I like the fact that his sub is cosmetically stock(I believe it is even unrestored) and slammed, nothin wild, just CLEEAAANNN!!!

My sub
Yea that is my orange sub and I am Jeff from Houston area that owned and built the black suede F150 as well. I sold the F-150 right before Christmas.
The sub chassis is the same as a long bed truck of this year model. And for all that are woundering the sub body is un-restored. I resently in the past few weeks recovered the seats with black and white hounds tooth, put a new 350 crate motor and 700R4 with new flowmaster exhaust tucked up in the frame all the way out the back. The only thing I am waiting on right now is the new Boyd Magneto's I ordered which should be in this week hopefully. I will post more pics once they arrive. Jeff |

Hi Jeff,
Did you cut the floor in the back to get it down or will it lay like that w/o cutting. Did you use the AirLift kit or how is the rear set up??? I want to set mine up similar to how yours is. I don't need or want it to lay out completely, I've got my 91 for that..... Any help would be great! Thanks! Joe BTW - The Hot Rod Lincoln kicked A$$!!!!!!!

Cut Floor? Yes
Bagged 91,
Yes the floor of the sub is cut in the year to allow the rear end pumpkin to come a little higher with a c-notch and a 2 inch block. The air ride sytem is air ride technologies. I just got my early classics panhard bar in yesterday and will put it on this weekend. It is needed to keep the rear end side to side movement to minimum. THe wheels clear now, but my new wheels are 20 x 10's and the side to side movement would be a problem with those, plus it is just wrong to have that much movement. Thanks the complements. Any help you may need please feel free to ask, |
