Thank you for welcoming in...1989 C-style 2x4 Hunter
Hello,
In 1989 my Dad and his sister each bought a Chevy Pick-Up. My Aunt went for a blue Cheyenne Silverado and my Dad for a Cheyenne Hunter, this is a special edition Sport model with all trims in black, no chrome at all except for the exterior door handles. It has thick stripes only in the sides and there were at least to color scheme versions, one in mohave beige with the brown-to-black stripes and the other red with red-to-black stripes, on both the bottoms are black. In Mexico the new body of the Chevy Truck 1988 truck came out 3 years later. So the forum I will use will be the 1988-1991 subforum for the Blazer/Suburban? Cause another detail is the it uses the 5.7L 350 V8 with a carburetor In that sense its like a combination of body styles and trims and particularities of the Hunter Edition. Here's a pic but those are not the original side mirrors http://1drv.ms/1BSjtHA I plan on restoring and maintaining it and hang on to it for a while, always useful to have pick-up truck in the family. Thanks for reading! |

Thats a cool looking truck. I don't guess we had something like that stateside but I'm not well educated on square bodies, anyway for sure interested in seeing what you do with it

Thank you
Thats one thing I have been trying to research. It seems this edition would be a followup on the Chevy Sport Trucks of the early 80s. I'll keep the updates coming This is a great, rich forum from what I gather Adrian |

another pic, as previously stated the mirrors should be all black, I'm in the process of replacing those temp chrome mirror bases.
