bumpers?
ok i have a 1979 chevy c10 lwb and im converting it to 4x4. the other one is a 1987 k20. im keeping the 79 body and junking the 87. all i have to do is swap bodies, intakes, and the tunnel but what im stuck on is the front bumper. idk how it would look with the 80s style bumper. and i dont want some big deer slayer. any ideas?

Re: bumpers?
I just put an 86 bumper on my 78 I had to use the 78 top bumper mounts and trim the inside edges on the sides of the later bumper as the 70s bodyline adds an inch or so width compared to the flat later style gaurds it looks ok to me but to gap it nicely will take a bit more work

Re: bumpers?
Thanks a lot. To me it looks a little better than the older style. What did you trim it with?
